The HA51U series comprises a family of single-channel high-voltage amplifiers with bipolar, unipolar and asymmetrical output configurations. These devices are characterised by high speed, high precision and excellent stability – whilst offering very low residual ripple and a low noise level. They are specifically designed for operation with capacitive and resistive loads. The high peak output current enables capacitive loads to be driven particularly efficiently.
Every amplifier in the HA51U series is equipped as standard with voltage and current monitoring outputs, a TTL-compatible INHIBIT input and additional status outputs. The output stage is powered by integrated high-voltage sources. Comprehensive protection functions ensure safe operation: the output stage is protected against overcurrent, short circuit, overvoltage, overtemperature and high-voltage breakdown. In addition, a safety interlock input is integrated to allow the unit to be integrated into existing safety circuits.
The amplifiers feature an isolated USB interface, which allows the device to be conveniently controlled via simple commands – for example, to set the output voltage or to monitor voltage, current, temperature and other operating parameters. Alternatively, the integrated microcontroller can be used to run custom user programmes directly on the device – for example, to generate any signal waveforms or to control the output voltage directly via USB.
