We represent high-quality foreign electronics manufacturers in Switzerland and provide our own services in engineering and service for the use of their products on the Swiss market. We specialize in power supplies in the low, medium and high voltage range with corresponding peripherals, automation components such as controllers, sensors and measurement electronics for geometric and physical sizes. History
1972 – Foundation of AIP Wild & Co. by Erwin Wild. Under the brand name “Transtector”, the company manufactures AC voltage stabilizers and mains interference suppression filters.
1975 – Foundation of AIP Wild AG. The company supplies its products to renowned international corporations.
1985 – With the increasing relocation of production facilities to low-wage countries, the demand for stabilizers and filters grows in order to compensate as effectively as possible for inadequate power supply conditions. AIP Transtector products protect systems and equipment in more than 100 countries worldwide.
1995 – In addition to its own products, AIP Wild AG increasingly establishes itself as a distributor of high-quality electronic products.
1999 – James Martin Schneider joins the Board of Directors and assumes management of the company as Managing Director.
2000 – In spring 2000, the company relocates to Oberglatt, and over the following years its activities are gradually adapted to changing market conditions.
2012 – Company founder Erwin Wild retires from the company. James Martin Schneider continues to lead the company together with the established team.
2017 – James Martin Schneider hands over the company to Markus Winzeler, who had already been working as Product Manager at AIP Wild AG for the previous two years.
