The HA05B2 is a high-precision high-voltage amplifier in a standardised 19-inch rack-mount format (3U / 6HP). It delivers an output voltage ranging from –500 V to +500 V at a load current of ±2 mA. It is controlled via a control voltage ranging from –10 V to +10 V, with a gain of 50.
Thanks to its high precision, excellent long-term stability and low noise level, the HA05B2 is ideally suited to demanding applications – even as a voltage reference.
The output voltage can be controlled either externally via a dedicated input for the control voltage or adjusted manually using a 10-turn precision potentiometer on the front panel.
Monitor outputs for voltage and current are available for monitoring purposes. In addition, the device is equipped with a fast INHIBIT input which, if required, immediately cuts the output to 0 V – for enhanced safety and protection of sensitive loads.
The amplifier output is reliably protected against overload, short circuits and transient overvoltages.
For applications requiring higher frequencies, high-speed versions with a bandwidth of up to 15 kHz and a slew rate of 50 V/µs are available on request.
The accompanying HAR12 mainframe accommodates up to 12 amplifier plug-in cards and enables compact, modular integration into complex systems.
